On Customs Street West between VYC and Sierra Café sits an unmarked Black Door. Behind the door and up the stairs is a private dining or party room, overlooking the lights and action of the Viaduct Marina.

 

The Black Door can be furnished as either a private dining room or a private bar. It is small and intimate for parties of up to 50 special guests only. We have had the pleasure of hosting sit down dinners, corporate events, 21st through to 70th birthday’s, cocktail parties, engagement parties and weddings.

 

The main feature of the Black Door is the 3 large sets of windows that overlook the boats of the marina and out to sea. It has an amazing view and private rooms like this are hard to find in the Auckland CBD.

 

Each event is exclusive and has full private use of the venue. If you need a larger venue, our sister venue one VYC has capacity up to 220.
